So, as we are a little behind due to our own wedding/honeymoon/moving in, we have decided to just do a big May Weddings post. Below are the videos from those weddings:
May 4: Catherine & Josh Powell
Catherine & Josh's wedding was special to us for two reasons: 1- It was our first wedding of 2013, and 2- They are our cousins! Their ceremony was intimate and special, and their reception was an absolute blast! Josh & Cat decided to have a small ceremony with only close family and friends. They set up chairs to form a half circle to face the place where the two shared their vows; their wedding party created the other half of the circle. The reception echoed this circle as the couple decided to have another circle - the guests formed an entire circle around the couple and...did the chicken dance. Haha. This really put a fun mood on the reception! The colors the bride chose also reflected the fun spirit of the couple - zebra print and hot pink. Her bridesmaids rocked it! The wedding as a whole did a great job of reflecting the couple's kindness to others and each other as well as their playfulness. Congrats guys! We love you!

May 11: Caroline & Brian Mickey
Caroline and Jessica were sorority sisters in college, and they have known each other for 6 years or so. When Caroline asked LemonDrop to video their wedding, Jessica was so excited - Alpha Delta Pi sisters are always up for a good wedding! Jessica was unable to actually attend Caroline & Brian's wedding, however, due to school obligations, but that made editing and watching the footage of the wedding even more enjoyable. Everything was so well thought out and just beautiful! Her bridesmaids were in a beautiful blue (the official color of her sorority), and her story theme carried throughout the wedding. The bride's nails had book pages on them, the flower girl (another sorority sister) threw book pages in the shape of hearts, and the couple was even married under an ARCH of books. Even the bride herself was amazed by that one, and you can see her reaction to seeing the arch put together in one of the videos below. Caroline has such an open, loyal, and loving spirit, and you can see it in everything she touches. Brian is a lucky man, and you can clearly see how much he loves Caroline as well. We wish you two so much happiness. Thanks for letting Casey in on your fun and creative wedding day!

May 18: Megan & Andrew Klope
It's always a good wedding day when LemonDrop gets to work with Flameheart Studios! Megan & Andrew had a talented photography team, and that just added to making the day an enjoyable one to "work." Megan & Andrew had an extra special wedding because they weren't just joining the two of them together as a couple - they were becoming a family with Andrew's two pretty daughters as well. Megan's calm, sweet attitude reflected throughout the day, and you could see the love the two had for one another in every hug and glance. The bride chose a soft pink and greys as her wedding colors, and her flower girls were little dolls in fluffy white.
