October was so busy that we had to split this month up for our blog! Here are the rest of our awesome October weddings.
October 12: Brette & Chris Schroll
Brette & Chris were married at Black Fox Farms in Cleveland, TN. This is one of the most stunning wedding venues we have ever been to! Seriously, it's beautiful. The inside of the barn was decorated in lights and flowers, and light streamed through an open window in the back, with a cross resting on its ledge. It's fantastic, for sure. Brette's dress was one of my favorites, with lace and tulle on bottom and sparkles on top. :) The girls wore purple and carried purple and orange flowers, and the guys wore khaki and bowties.
Their love story, as told by Brette:
"Well
Chris and I are high school sweethearts. We met in a class my junior
year/his senior year. After a year of being friends, he finally asked me
to be his girlfriend on April 12, 2009. We both went to Lee [University] with our own
majors. Then in 2013, we had to be apart for our cross cultural
experiences for a month. I was in Thailand for two weeks, then he was in
Australia for two and a half. The second we saw each other [afterwards] we knew we
wanted to be together forever. He asked me to marry him on July 12,2013 using props like a lady and the tramp doll. The day we got married was
5.5 years together."
Favorite part of the day:
"Favorite part of the day was seeing Chris's smiling face and how happy we were and still are."
We seriously love this couple. They are so precious together and so stinkin' fun. Thank you for allowing us to film your big day! We worked with Amy Blackwood Photography. (Take a look at her sample photos - they're so pretty!) Detour DJ kept the party going, and Delish Cakes provided the DELICIOUS cupcakes. I could have eaten 5 of those things. Their supportive, helpful family took care of the food. Here's their Intro!

October 18: Brittany & Brett Heffner
Brittany & Brett were married at Magna View Baptist Church in Talbott, TN. Casey met Brett years ago in karate, so we were stoked when he asked us to film his wedding. We were able to meet his bubbly, sweet bride that day, and her dress was, in my opinion, the best dress EVER. That may or may not be because it's the same one I wore on my wedding day. ;) It's covered in sparkly lace with a lace back and beautiful buttons all down the spine. Love. it. still. haha. The girls wore hot pink and navy, and the guys wore black pains, a white shirt, and hot pink ties. The groom finished his look with a classy black suit jacket, and he wore a hot pink and navy striped tie instead. My favorite detail about the wedding? Brett kept all of his movie and concert tickets from his and Brittany's fun adventures; they were scattered on one of the guest tables. Love it. :)
Their love story, as told by Brittany:
"One Sunday morning, my family was running late to visit Magna
View Church for the very first time. We sat down near the back of the
church. At the end of the service, the preacher asks the congregation to
join hands across the aisle way to close the service. Brett and I held
hands the very first time we met. From there, we became friends, and it
grew to love. He proposed to me at Magna View Church in the same place
we met and on the same stage we would later get married on. His wedding
ring has the coordinates of that Church. God is so good, and we feel He
orchestrated every part of our love story." (Note from Jessica - SO sweet!)
Favorite part of the day:
"The first look was my favorite part because of Brett's reaction.
His favorite part was FINALLY getting on stage to begin our ceremony.
The countless hours of planning for that moment was worth it all."
Their photographer was Jayna Watkins Photography, who, as the bride commented, is "very affordable, talented, and easy to work with." (We agree!) Giving Him Glory Cakes made the beautiful cake. Brittany comments, "Guests raved about the amazing taste of our wedding cake. Of course we loved it!" It was pretty yummy. :) Here is their Intro video!

October 24: Brooke & Jamie Kilgore
Brooke & Jamie were married at Greene County Fairgrounds in Greene County, TN. This was our first carnival-themed wedding, and it was so. cool. They really went all out in their details with a pick-up ducks game, popcorn centerpieces, balloons galore, and a cake backdrop that featured a colorful clown. I was unable to attend this wedding, unfortunately, so Casey spent all morning with the ladies as they got ready. Brooke was a happy, beautiful bride, and her lace wedding gown looked so pretty on her. Her bright orange shoes peeped out from the bottom of her dress, and her bouquet was big, fluffy, and bright orange as well. The bridesmaids wore orange dresses, and the maid of honor wore green. My favorite part of Brooke's "The Dress" video? Her, trying not to cry, as she walked down the aisle to her groom. :)

Their love story, as told by Brooke:
"Our
love story is pretty crazy. The majority of our relationship has been
long distance, and it's been very hard to stay together. The only thing
that has kept us together through the last 4 or 5 years of distance is
God. Our faith has been the number one factor in getting through it all.
When we've hit rock bottom and just wanted to end it we would take a
couple days apart and just pray about it and somehow without us even
thinking about it things would be perfect again. Without God being the
number one factor in our relationship we definitely wouldn't be here
right now."
Favorite part of the day:
"I rode down the hill to the ceremony in an old car my
grandmother set up. It was a surprise to Jamie, and I had been such a
calm bride all day until I hit the top of the hill and could see
everyone sitting there and Jamie standing there. I lost it. I don't
think I've ever cried so much in my life. As soon as I typed this, I asked Jamie what his was, and he had the same exact answer."
We worked with Katrina Serene Photography, a very popular photographer in her area. How do I know this? Because she has over 4,500 likes on Facebook, of course! haha. Her photos are bright and beautiful, especially the ones of the Kilgore wedding. Heavenly Mini Donuts Co. provided the carnival themed food. :) Here is their Intro video!

October 25: Danielle & Aj Wilkerson
Danielle & AJ were married at the Main St. Church of Christ in Crossville, TN. We spent the (early) morning with Danielle and her girls. Everyone had their coffee, and one of the girls had a morning nap while waiting to get her hair done. :) Danielle was such a sweet bride and worth getting up so early for. She had her beautiful, long hair done by Alia Hale, and her make-up was done by Angie Janow. Her dress had a sweetheart neckline with lace trim, hugged her waist, and flared out at the bottom. It also had "Danielle and AJ, October 25, 2014" stitched in blue on the inside. The bride decorated her own cloth shoes, writing love quotes and sayings on them. Hatler Florist in Crossville created her GORGEOUS bouquet. The girls wore grey, and the men wore black and white. The two best parts of the day, in my opinion, were 1, the weather. The leaves were the perfect autumn colors, and the sunshine was so pretty. 2, their first look. This groom's reaction made me cry from behind the camera, and I had just met the couple that day! Here's Danielle's "The Dress" video!

Their love story, as told by Danielle:
"Well,
we met at a wedding July 2012. We were paired up as a bridesmaid and
groomsman. He got my number at the reception, and we started texting and
calling each other then since we were long distance. We had our first
date halfway between where I live (Crossville, TN) and where he lived
(Auburn, AL) in Gadsden, AL. He was my first kiss, too! We visited each
other back and forth until he proposed in Sept 2013. He got a job here
in Crossville March 2014, so we got to live in the same town and were
married in October 2014."
Favorite part of the day:
"Our favorite part of the wedding was definitely the reveal! Seeing AJ's precious reaction was the highlight of my entire day."
Their photography was by Sharper Photography in Mt. Juliet, TN. Her images from the Wilkerson wedding are so stunning! Catering
was by The Right Choice Catering in Cookeville, TN, and cupcakes were
from Charity's Bake Shop also in Cookeville. Here is their Intro (to one of my favorite songs of ALL time)!
