November 2: Tiffany & Justin Perry
Tiffany & Justin were married in Pigeon Forge, TN in a small, country church in the middle of mountains and beautiful trees - at Trillium Springs. The two had been dating for years, and they picked the perfect autumn day for their wedding day. This last fall seemed to only have a few days where the trees were vibrant fall colors, and their wedding weekend fell within those few days. The reds, oranges, and yellows made a beautiful backdrop, and the mountains, cabins, and little church added to the "Pigeon Forge" feel. Their first dance was so sweet, and their sparkler exit was the brightest and smokiest (haha). Favorite thing about this wedding? The couple had a dove releasing ceremony between their wedding ceremony and their reception - something we hadn't seen before! It's said that doves symbolize love, peace, happiness, and prosperity for the couple, and we wish every bit of that on these two. Here's their intro!

November 9: Carol & Michael Duke
If there's one photographer we are certainly glad that we met, it's Melissa Scott from Melissa Rena Photography. This lady referred us for so many weddings in our first year of work, and we couldn't be more thankful for her. In 2013, we only got to work with her for one wedding - the Duke wedding! We met Carol the morning of her wedding to begin filming for "The Dress," and we instantly realized what a sweet, bubbly, and compassionate personality she has. We watched as she, her bridesmaids, and some of her family members got ready for the big day, and she only got more excited as the day went along.
Carol - The Dress
Carol & Michael were married at DelMonaco Winery & Vineyards. We had not had the opportunity to film a wedding there yet, but it is beautiful! It's good for an outdoor OR indoor wedding. The Duke wedding was indoors, and it was pretty amazing how quickly the people at DelMonaco transformed the entire space from a ceremony site to a reception site while still keeping the guests entertained. Helping to keep the entire day running smoothly was the wedding coordinator, Dawn, from Dawn of the Day. She was fantastic! She ran around all day, decorating, directing, organizing, and keeping the bride happy. If you are looking for a wedding planner/coordinator, we highly recommend her!
Oh! And if you've never been to a Filipino wedding, then you don't know what you're missing. Carol's Filipino guests were the lives of the party, laughing, clapping, and just being genuinely happy about everything! It kept the mood light and fun all day. Their wedding day was just a loving one, full of Filipino & American traditions, gorgeous fall decorations (wheat centerpieces everywhere!), and a precious couple. We enjoyed this wedding tremendously. Here's their intro!
